A - HAPPY 26TH BIRTHDAY VANESSA!

For my friend Vanessa's Birthday, I decided to try out a photo project idea that I've had for a while. The basic idea is that I called up / e-mailed all of Vanessa's friends that I knew and a few that I didn't and got them to cooperate in this photo project. Each person got to choose a letter or number from the words HAPPY 26TH BIRTHDAY VANESSA! and take a picture with that letter. I then printed all the photos and pasted them to little boards and had the people in the picture write a message on the back. All of these boards were later bound into a book and given to Vanessa on her birthday... If you think this is hard to understand try explaining it in Japanese about 20 times ;D

Vanessa and Sa-chan first met through their mutual friend Karl. They hit it off from there and became fast friends. I have heard a great many epic tales of Sa-chan through Vanessa such as drinking an incredible amount of Plum wine and running for the last train and other such adventures. Sa-chan rivals Vanessa in energy and all around Genki-ness and they can continue on far longer than yours truly. ;P Ken-Ken is Sa-chan's other half and is always along for the ride and always awes me with his Californian accent and slang ;D. Makes me homesick and makes Vanessa scold him for learning American English instead of proper Queen'd English. Thank you Sa-chan and Ken-ken! We <3 you guys!
