T - HAPPY 26TH BIRTHDAY VANESSA!

For my friend Vanessa's Birthday, I decided to try out a photo project idea that I've had for a while. The basic idea is that I called up / e-mailed all of Vanessa's friends that I knew and a few that I didn't and got them to cooperate in this photo project. Each person got to choose a letter or number from the words HAPPY 26TH BIRTHDAY VANESSA! and take a picture with that letter. I then printed all the photos and pasted them to little boards and had the people in the picture write a message on the back. All of these boards were later bound into a book and given to Vanessa on her birthday... If you think this is hard to understand try explaining it in Japanese about 20 times ;D

Meet Matsuo-Mama, not to be confused with Matsuo-Papa ;D. Vanessa and I know her husband through badminton, but we didn't really get to meet until I went skiing with them, or until Vanessa took us all to England. As you can see in her picture here she is a fan of beer ;D and can drink us all under the table. I made the mistake of boasting that my rum and coke was rather strong... she took a sip and let me know what a light weight I was. ;P It's been really wonderful getting to know her, especially through our trip to England. これからもよろしくね！
