H - HAPPY 26TH BIRTHDAY VANESSA!

For my friend Vanessa's Birthday, I decided to try out a photo project idea that I've had for a while. The basic idea is that I called up / e-mailed all of Vanessa's friends that I knew and a few that I didn't and got them to cooperate in this photo project. Each person got to choose a letter or number from the words HAPPY 26TH BIRTHDAY VANESSA! and take a picture with that letter. I then printed all the photos and pasted them to little boards and had the people in the picture write a message on the back. All of these boards were later bound into a book and given to Vanessa on her birthday... If you think this is hard to understand try explaining it in Japanese about 20 times ;D

In this picture you can see yours truly taking a fairly embarrassing photo in a water fountain that Vanessa and I played in last summer alongside a bunch of elementary school kids. I was very lucky in that the day I decided to take the picture, there were only about 5 gawkers that I work with that decided to hang around and stare ;D haha, good times - good times.
