Komono goes to KoshienPosted by Nicole (Komono, Japan) on 12 August 2008 in Sport & Recreation and Portfolio. So baseball is a big deal in Japan. So much so that High School games are televised during the summer when all the High Schools of Japan compete to go to Koshien (pronounced like co-she-eh-n) - where they hold something like a world series to determine the best team in Japan. This year Komono made it to Koshien. Which has only happened twice in the history of Komono, so it was a big deal. So 2 am something like 10% of Komono's population - get on to approximately 63 buses and takes off to Koshien. When Komono does Koshien - it really does Koshien. We lost 4-1 but it was still worth it - probably. Prints are now available for purchase!! I am in the process of uploading photos to the above site to be available for purchase. If there is any specific image that you would like to become available, please feel free to contact me. Thank you for stopping by!
