Rain Rain Go Away

@Faye: This one is actually of a random bike parked next to a random train station while we waited three hours for the next train to come. Up until this point I thought I lived in the middle of nowhere with my once every 20 minute trains... boy was I wrong! In other news, more photos of my wonderful orange bike to come ;D

@Pavla: Thanks Pavla ;D Means a lot cause I <3 your photos! Truth is it was fairly bright out when I took this image, so I used a fairly fast shutter (if I remember correctly) and camera shake didn't really come into the picture. Trust me, I have camera-shake-syndrome as well >__> and seeing as I was sitting on my heels to take this shot, if I hadn't been using a fast shutter, nothign would have come out clear. A lot of the clarity I get is from my post-editing in Lightroom.

@Tamara: I imagine Florida has a fairly similar summer and rainy season as Japan. I've never been, but I hear tell of the muggy heat ;D . I've never really tried shooting photos of the rain, but I recently read an article about rain photography and not packing your camera away when it starts to rain. That and I had three hours to blow at a station in the middle of nowhere, with no one around, and only one store to spend a few minutes in. >__<

@Julie McLeod: Thanks Julie! I use a wide angled lens a lot of the time, so lines tend to get a bit curved in my images. I tried straightening out the image, but in the end I liked the flow of the lines as well, made the image seem a little more alive like you said, if possibly a little disorientating. @akarui: Yeah, the rainy season is over and the heat is back. It's hard to remember just how hot Japan gets until the summer starts again.
