@Michael Skorulski: Haha, yeah I guess so. Never really thought of it that way. It's really hilarious when put into context - there aren't all that many cars on these streets. So standing and looking both ways feels pretty silly. Had a nice giggle standing on the feet though.

@pierre: Why of course!! I had to stand on them for a while - force my mother to stand on them while posing for pictures and generally soak in the silliness before I crossed but it did happen eventually =). Glad you liked it! I see you've posted another great one today! Makes me feel like going for a swim!

@Isaac: Hahha, good eye. They may appear to be in the street because of the way I cropped the image, but really they are at an intersection. But no matter how you look at it, they are pretty strange in general.
