My fish take a ride on the trainPosted by Nicole (Komono, Japan) on 16 May 2008 in Transportation and Portfolio. So continued from tomorrow's post, you get to keep a few fish that the lady picks out for you. I was given four fish that my friends and I promptly named. Mama was the fish who looked pregnant, Hige or mustache in Japanese was the fish that had a little black mustache looking mark over his lip, George was curious and thus became curious George, and Shini (or an abbreviation of the verb to die in Japanese) was the sickly looking fish. Truth is these fish are usually just an amusement for people visiting a festival and generally are not known to last. So for the moment Mama is the only fish left. Shini lasted surprisingly longer than George and Hige which were the fish we assumed would last the longest. (more tomorrow on the actual catching of the fish) Prints are now available for purchase!! I am in the process of uploading photos to the above site to be available for purchase. If there is any specific image that you would like to become available, please feel free to contact me. Thank you for stopping by!
