Bindis and Japan

Apart from doing the Habitat Gallery in the Komono town hall, I also did presentations on India for my 3rd year and 2nd year students at the Jr. High.
I imagined that a story about what I did over a vacation that they had to spend studying and doing school sports every day wouldn't go over all that well so I pulled all the stops bringing in sparkly bindis, wearing henna on my hands and bringing in poster-sized photos.
All the girls of course fell in love with the bindis so I decided whoever could ask me for them in English could get one. Instant popularity ensued of course.
