A different anglePosted by Nicole (Komono, Japan) on 12 April 2008 in People & Portrait and Portfolio. As we were leaving the worksite I captured this image from my seat inside the bus - It's interesting how much difference a new angle can make. I had been taking pictures of children who literally ran up to us to have their pictures taken. I liked this one because of the evening light and the colors represented. I've just recently started playing around with fill flash. One nice thing about the Nikon D50 is it lets you control how much flash it give off. I generally set it low and use it a little when taking portraits outside. In the post process I've been going back in the direction of using more contrast and burning the edges. Saw some photos of a friend of mine that reminded me how much I liked the contrasty look. Let me know what you think! Prints are now available for purchase!! I am in the process of uploading photos to the above site to be available for purchase. If there is any specific image that you would like to become available, please feel free to contact me. Thank you for stopping by!
