Golden Temple

Kinkakuji temple. This is a temple in Kyoto. When a few friends of Vanessa's and mine offered to take us to this temple, I was a little skeptical. It sounded completely tacky; 'A shrine covered in gold.' I was ready to just say skip over this one, and let's go somewhere else. But the picture that they showed me in the brochure didn't do it justice. This place shines like you wouldn't believe. Hopefully my photo expresses some of that.
